WHO IS GREEN EYE?
After spending his youth surfing and snowboarding, Clark Tippen met his lady on an airplane and soon there were kids to follow. They spent the wonder years in Hawaii where Clark dabbled in sushi and second hand cars. Soon his love for the Earth led him into working with older Mercedes Benz vehicles- the definitive Biodiesel cars- and then when the kids wanted more family action, the family moved back to the tranquility of Oregon. Once there Clark, considered by many to be something of a polymath come handyman, kept up with the Biovehicle/Renewable fuel scene, often lending his innovative genius to a necessary and rapidly evolving niche.
Jacob Frankfort’s roots stretch far and wide, having been something of a North American gypsy mixed in with Oregon’s breakaway commune revolution. Part of an ever expanding family, he decided that there was more to life and headed off to Europe. It wasn’t long before he had experienced some of the best of European culture. He settled in Eugene, and for a while Jacob honed his skills as a master carpenter. He believed that there was an opportunity for greener vehicles in Eugene and the North West. After being introduced to Clark by a mutual mentor, the two of them hit it off and went into business.
If you look around at the car business in America, then you will see that the green element is rare. If it is present then it is predominantly for those with greater funds and involves newer cars. Green eye tries to reach everyone, renewing, reusing, and adapting current resources in order to provide biovehicles and green products in a time when the planet is crying out for more accountability in the way her resources are squandered. Jacob and Clark are creating a means for that to happen.
